Connecticut Morgan in West Springfield, Massachusetts was the first show for the Hunter's Glen Morgans 2023 Show Season. Everyone was very excited to be back in the show ring with a bunch of new pairs. A highlight of this show, was trainer, Karen Bobbi in the Professional Equitation Stake. The crowd went wild when Karen dropped her irons on her flashy hunter pleasure mount.
Acorn Ridge Exclusive Art is a fresh face to our show string being leased to Nicole Bobbi. Karen Bobbi showed this typey brown Hunter Pleasure mount. Belleheir Lady showed with Karen Bobbi grabbing a 2nd place in the Opportunity Hunter Pleasure. Owner, Emily Candelaria won her Academy Walk Trot Equitation. Chilled Martini found a new partner for this season, Jane Alvarez. Jane has been riding for a large portion of her life, so it is exciting to see this new combination in the ring. "Marti" won both the Morgan Hunter In Hand and the Speciality In Hand Championship. This chestnut oozes with Morgan type. Hylee's Wrapped in Clover and owner Emma Johnson were back this season after their championship win in October. This duo snatched a 2nd in the Morgan Hunter Pleasure Youth offering. Newmont's Mocha Man is another new hunter to our show string. Karen Bobbi showed for owner Lynn Fuda in the Hunter Pleasure Limit Horse offerings. Leaser, Ava Howland won at her first show with "Nero" in the Academy Walk Trot Pleasure offering. Treble's High End Piece and owner Amanda Zsido changed things up this year, switching from Classic Pleasure to Hunter Pleasure. "Zippy" received a 2nd in the Opportunity Amateur Hunter Pleasure class. Willow Hill Pollyanna and Caprice Tondalo are back for their tenth season under the Hunter's Glen banner. A new rider, Robbie Zsido paired up with "Polly" to win both Academy Walk Only offerings. |
