About Karen Bobbi - owner and trainer
Karen began riding as a child at Skyline View in Wallingford, Connecticut and was instantly hooked on horses. Hunter's Glen Morgans was originally built in 1981 as a two stall, personal barn for Karen and her parents, Glenn and Eileen Hunter. Her first Morgan horse, "Liesel" lived on the farm. From a young age, Karen knew she wanted to become a horse trainer. As a Junior exhibitor, Karen and her family purchased their first show horse, Trija's Peppermarc, whom she rode and showed under John Bennett. Karen attended the University of Connecticut, majoring in Animal Science. Karen was on both the Equestrian Team and Drill Team. Karen began teaching lessons and training horses soon after. She has had a hand in hundreds of horses and people's lives. Karen Bobbi is a true ambassador of the Morgan horse breed and is just as versatile as the breed itself; showing and training driving, hunter seat, saddleseat, western, and equitation.
